The Debt Advocacy Center (DAC) is dedicated to both negotiating modifications of mortgage loans as well as the education and defense of homeowners against predatory mortgage lending. We do not act as attorneys but we are staffed with them as well as loan underwriters.
We extend to homeowners several options based on their individual situations. In cases where there has likely been improper lender conduct and the lender refuses to negotiate a fair modification, the Center will refer them to appropriate counsel based on their expertise and fee schedules. As DAC reaches out to homeowners all over the country we are currently seeking attorneys in various cities and states to take cases on locally.
Who we are
We are primarily attorneys whose mission is to prevent foreclosure, and if necessary, obtain defense of homeowners against predatory mortgage lending. We were founded by some of the country's foremost experts in predatory lending. The CEO has been researching this particular area of consumer law for over 10 years and is involved with several class action lawsuits on the subject. Most recently his expertise was used in the landmark settlement between the State of New York and the GSEs on the subject of valuation practices.
As one of our network of attorneys you will be supported by our team. We will provide you with an extremely complete file workup on every case for which our customer has chosen you. We will also provide research on topics anent to predatory lending as well as sample pleadings and discovery items.
We only ask that attorneys who join our network, consider appropriate compensation given (a) the relevant workload; (b) violation of statutes that allow for attorney fees and (c) the absence of any marketing fees on your part. We are very proud to offer extremely affordable legal representation to our clients, many of who are facing foreclosure and bankruptcy.
